In Search Of Sunrise p2

In the catacombs of opaque ashes
and the anxious sweat of a bride
The old man held the trembling boy
with static destruction told him -

"Never fear that which is inevitable -
for the real fear rests in its anticipation.
Embrace it, as I am embracing you."

X----------------------------------------X

The singing palm tree hung precariously
bending against the might of the winds
its leaves and roots caving to the iniquity
as it danced a lonely ballet of melancholy
towards the replinished house of certainty.

It would break. The entire congregation would hymn in delight.
For the only real emperor is the Emperor of Ice Cream.

X------------------------------------------X

As he held the .45 in his mouth; angulated towards the heavens,
the man shut his eyes and gathered his last gasp of concentration.
He let out a chilling smile as he focused on the one thing that made
perfect.
sense.
in his.
life.

His childhood.
The rest is ice cream.
